Today Checkser (checkser.com) was opened for the general public. Finally everyone can create and share (public) checklists.
Checkser history 101
Ever been in the position where you needed a quick checklist to make sure you were not missing any vital steps somewhere along the line? During a conversation with one of my mentors (Hans Janssen, CEO of Woodwing - www.woodwing.com), a few weeks ago, we had this same insight. Wouldn't it be great if there was a website where people could share their collective knowledge in the form of checklists? That day, the idea for a wiki-like service for checklists was born.
The next few weeks after that meeting I have been busy creating that service using web 2.0 techniques like drag-and-drop, edit in place etc.
Now there is a place where you can find, edit, append, create checklists of all sorts: www.checkser.com!
