Today, while working on the Checkser-gadget/widget, I was contacted by Killerstartups.com who reviewed Checkser on their website.
Somehow they stumbled upon Checkser and were very positive about the concept!

Bugfixes and preview function
Fixed a few bugs today and created a new preview-function on the "history"-pages so everyone can see what previous versions of a checklist looked like.
Started suggesting Checkser to several search-engines, blog-sites and newswires. Now for some traffic...

Checkser live! (public alpha)
Today Checkser (checkser.com) was opened for the general public. Finally everyone can create and share (public) checklists.
Checkser history 101
Ever been in the position where you needed a quick checklist to make sure you were not missing any vital steps somewhere along the line? During a conversation with one of my mentors (Hans Janssen, CEO of Woodwing - www.woodwing.com), a few weeks ago, we had this same insight. Wouldn't it be great if there was a website where people could share their collective knowledge in the form of checklists? That day, the idea for a wiki-like service for checklists was born.
The next few weeks after that meeting I have been busy creating that service using web 2.0 techniques like drag-and-drop, edit in place etc.
Now there is a place where you can find, edit, append, create checklists of all sorts: www.checkser.com!
